• Thomas Kuhr welcomes the members of the IDT-UM project at the first collaboration meeting. He reminds the participants that our goal is to develop experiment-overarching solutions.
  • Markus Schulz and Stefan Roiser presented ideas for a Scientific Software Institute. The general idea is well received. It should be set up in a way that it supports the various other initiatives. Further feedback is welcome.
  • Maryam Salehi asks the members to provide a description of their institute's contribution for the web page. She also needs nice pictures,
  • People prefer to use the video conferencing system they are familiar with. We'll use Vidyo for the next meeting.
  • We decided to create an organization on github. IDT-UM projects can create repositories under this organization. Existing projects could be linked. For area C we decided to use VISPA because it provides storage space for example data.
