The Arnold Sommerfeld Center for Theoretical Physics at the LMU in Munich will host a school on “Generalized Symmetries” in the period October 5-9, 2026.
The school is primarily aimed at PhD and advanced master students, but more senior researchers are very welcome to apply as well. It will introduce physical as well as mathematical aspects of categorical formulations of symmetry, and cover selected applications in high and low energy physics.
