We are leading the production of MeerKLASS on-the-fly interferometric imaging data and catalogs for the 10,000 deg2 MeerKLASS UHF survey. My group has focused on the production of continuum imaging and catalogs in UHF (and also L-band over a smaller test field). We are pursuing scientific analyses of multi-wavelength source catalogs, where each radio source is associated with an optical/NIR host with redshift and other physical characteristics. I would like to present the survey status together with the constraints on the radio galaxy population and its evolution as well as the radiative AGN (quasar) population to redshifts of z~6 to 7. We will present the redshift evolution of the radio galaxy population out to z~1 and also the latest population of high redshift radio-selected quasars identified in the MeerKLASS survey. These radio quasars represent the end-state of the quasar evolutionary sequence and corresponding to galaxies hosting massive BHs (>10^7.5 Msolar). Identifying these objects at redshifts z~6-7 enables new insights into the rapid growth and production of SMBHs during the epoch of reionization.
