We are pleased that you are interested in participating in our event. The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you about the processing of your personal data in connection with your registration.

When you register for the event, we process the following data, as applicable:

- Documentation of participation

- Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract (event registration)
- Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with legal obligations (e.g., accounting requirements)
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests, such as administering the event, ensuring its security, and communicating with participants.
5. Recipients of Your Data
Your data will be processed only internally by the coordination office team.
6. Retention Period
Your personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to organize and conduct the event and to fulfill applicable legal retention obligations. Data required for accounting purposes may be retained for the statutory retention period under German commercial and tax law.
7. Rights to Withdrawal
Under the GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
8. Mandatory Provision of Data
The provision of the data marked as mandatory is necessary to process your registration. Without this information, participation in the event cannot be arranged.
Photographs and Video Recordings
Please note that photographs and/or video recordings will be taken during the event for documentation, public relations and communication purposes. The recordings may be published on our website, in printed publications and on our social media and professional networking channels (e.g. LinkedIn).
Where the recordings constitute personal data, they are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in documenting and promoting our activities. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Article 21 GDPR. If you do not wish to appear in photographs or video recordings, please inform the event organizers upon arrival or the photographer during the event.
